Megan McNeil (in her own words)
My name’s Megan McNeil. Besides for the whole cancer deal-io, I’d say I’m a pretty average Joe. I was born on September 7th at Women’s Hospital in Vancouver in 1990 (I’m 19 now) and grew up around the Vancouver area.
I went to a couple different elementary schools, graduated from Seaquam Secondary in 2008, and am now attending Kwantlen Polytechnic University in Surrey (though am now debating looking into broadcasting at BCIT).
I’m a pretty optimistic, outgoing person who loves to make people laugh and make the most out of life (in other words, I’m a pretty big goof who laughs a bit too hard at her own jokes). My hobbies revolve around music and art, but I also really miss being able to do sports. I love to sing, draw, run, dance, stretch, exercise, and eat (no seriously folks, I love food). I’m also fascinated by the human body and what its capable of (aka science nerd), yet love to be creative (aka artsy fartsy).
I’m also a pretty social person, I love to hang out with my friends and just chat (I’d so rather play board games than go to a house party… What an oldie). I’m pretty goal oriented and determined… Once I set my mind on something I’m pretty stubborn to achieve it!
